Uso due dock Elgato Thunderbolt sul mio MacBook Pro a metà del 2012. Ho collegato a loro due schermi: un display HDMI su ciascuno di essi. Entrambi sono display LG, uno a 16: 9 e uno a 21: 9.
Questa configurazione funziona bene, almeno a volte. Se funziona funziona tutto il giorno. Se poi metto il mio MacBook in modalità di sospensione e riattivo di nuovo qualche tempo dopo, ho due possibili risultati:
- Entrambi i monitor vengono rilevati correttamente e tutto funziona (il 60% delle volte)
- Entrambi i monitor sono riconosciuti, solo uno (il primo collegato) mostra effettivamente un'immagine, la seconda non ha immagine e va a dormire
Non ho un comportamento coerente qui perché posso provare quello che voglio, PRAM-resetta, riavvia, cancella le impostazioni dello schermo ecc., cambiando i cavi, non posso forzare anche il secondo monitor a funzionare. Funziona a caso a un certo punto.
Che cosa posso fare per risolvere il problema o almeno forzare il funzionamento del secondo monitor?
Ricorda: OS X riconosce entrambi i monitor con il loro profilo colore e risoluzione corretti e spesso funziona (uso il MacBook in clamshell).
