Perchè i gamed contattano così tanti IP e porte?

Ho eseguito Little Snitch per un mese circa ed è stato piuttosto affascinante vedere (e bloccare) così tante connessioni tentate.

gamed è costantemente "nelle notizie". Si prega di controllare lo screenshot allegato per il gioco. Ho permesso le connessioni in quanto è un processo certificato Apple. È destinato a colpire così tanti IP e diverse porte? Inoltre, non gioco sul mio MBP, anche se i miei figli giocano attraverso il mio account su dispositivi iOS, quindi forse è da lì che proviene l'attività.

Sì, lo è. Perché non potrei dirtelo, ma sembra farlo come per questo forum Apple . Ci sono modi per disabilitarlo se vuoi che smetta di essere così fastidioso.

Da quello stesso forum Apple:

If you're monitoring network activity using Little Snitch, though, it's very annoying because it continually generates network traffic, whether you are using Game Center or not -- and it won't take no for an answer.

You can prevent gamed from running by logging in as an administrative user, running the Terminal application, and typing (or copying and pasting) at the prompt:

sudo defaults write /System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.gamed Disabled -bool true

After restarting your computer, gamed will not be running and the Little Snitch network monitor won't be flashing.

To reverse the change, you can type:

sudo defaults delete /System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.gamed Disabled

Modifica: nota anche che, poiché il piccolo snitch gestisce la connettività del tuo computer, non la tua rete, il processo di gioco che richiede tali indirizzi IP è quello sul tuo computer, NON uno da qualsiasi dispositivo iOS.
