Il tasto Maiusc sulla tastiera Mac funziona solo con alcuni tasti

Ok, questo è strano.

Pensavo che la tastiera del mio Mac avesse sviluppato una chiave rotta, ma dopo alcuni test è rotta solo quando si interagisce con alcuni altri tasti .

Il tasto Maiusc sinistro non funziona con una manciata di altri tasti, vedi il seguente output con il tasto Maiusc premuto:

qwertyuopASDFGHJKLZXCVBNM

Nota anche la mancanza di un i in quell'output. Quella chiave funziona, ma quando viene premuto il tasto Maiusc non esce nulla.

Non sembra essere un problema di software, poiché è esattamente lo stesso sia su Imac che su quando sono collegato al mio macbook.

Dato che il problema appare su due Mac, questo suggerisce un errore hardware . Se la tastiera non è troppo vecchia, portala a un Apple Store . Potrebbero essere in grado di sostituirlo per te.

Lo strano comportamento che si sta vedendo potrebbe essere perché un circuito è danneggiato e causa il ghosting. Microsoft articolo su ghosting spiega di più:

What causes ghosting?

Typically, ghosting is the result of one or more of following three limitations: the hardware can't read the given key combination, the software on the computer doesn't support multiple simultaneous keys, or the communication protocol between the hardware and software limits the maximum number of simultaneous keys reported. The next section discusses in more detail the hardware design of typical keyboards that limits the number of keys that can be read at the same time.
