Voglio effettuare il downgrade da Yosemite 10.10 a Mavericks o al sistema operativo precedente [duplicato]

Se hai un recente backup di Time Machine da prima dell'aggiornamento, puoi ripristinare il backup e tornerai su Mavericks. Perderà nuovi file, modifiche, ecc. Che sono stati apportati da quando hai eseguito l'upgrade a Yosemite, a meno che non esegui il backup di questi prima tenti di eseguire il downgrade.

Segui questi passaggi, da OS X Daily :

1. Reboot the Mac with Yosemite and hold down Command+R to enter Recovery mode (You can also hold Option and choose “Recovery HD”, or if you have a Yosemite USB installer key, you can boot from that too)

2. At the OS X Utilities menu, choose “Restore From Time Machine Backup”

3. Connect the Time Machine drive that contains the most recent Mavericks backup to the Mac (typically through USB or Thunderbolt), then click “Continue”

4. At the “Select a Backup Source” screen, choose the Time Machine volume used for the Mavericks backup and click Continue

5. Under “Backup Date & Time”, select the most recent backup made from OS X Mavericks – double-check the OS X Version menu to make sure it’s “10.9.5” (or whatever 10.9.x you had previously), then click Continue again

6. Choose the Destination drive (the Yosemite volume you want to downgrade) to restore the OS X Mavericks backup to – this will erase OS X Yosemite and revert back to Mavericks on that drive, be sure you backed up all files created between the most recent backup date and now or you will lose them – click on “Restore” to begin the downgrade process

The downgrade process can take quite a while depending on the size of the backup, the amount of files on the drive, the speed of the Mac, and the speed of the hard drive. Expect this process to take several hours if not many hours, for a very large hard drive of stuff, it could easily take overnight if not a full day to complete hundreds of GB of file transfers. Do not interrupt the restore process, otherwise you would need to start over.

Penso che Yosemite sia il più brutto Mac OS che Apple abbia mai rilasciato (e ci sono stato fin dall'inizio). Penso che il look-and-feel sia terrificante, e non riesco a sopportarlo ... così sono tornato ai Mavericks.

Se non hai un backup di Time Machine, allora ci sono due opzioni principali:

1. Comando-R: sistema di recupero

Se hai un Mac più recente, quando fai il boot del tuo Mac, tieni premuto Command-R ... questo ti permette di installare una nuova copia di OS X Mavericks che scaricherà dai server Apple su Internet.

Downside: non ti permette di installare Mavericks quando hai già installato Yosemite, quindi devi cancellare il tuo HD usando l'utility Disk (fai prima un backup, ovviamente), e poi riavvia il tuo Mac, tieni premuto Comando -R, e installa un nuovo sistema: ti ritroverai con un Mac nuovissimo.

2. Chiavetta USB di avvio Mavericks

In teoria, se hai Mavericks installato come chiavetta USB avviabile, dovresti essere in grado di installare Mavericks da quello. In realtà non ha funzionato per me, forse perché la mia versione di Mavericks sulla chiavetta USB (gen 2014) è uscita prima della data in cui ho acquistato il mio Macbook Air ... e ho dovuto usare il sistema di recupero che ha funzionato bene ... anche se si avvia pulito da fresco.
