Come posso dividere un film in sezioni?

Ho un DVD che qualcuno ha registrato e masterizzato per me, e il DVD non ha marcatori di capitoli. L'ho rippato in un file MP4 con il freno a mano in modo da poterlo inserire sul mio iPod / iPad, ma voglio anche che abbia "capitoli" come un DVD, quindi posso saltare alle parti che voglio.

C'è un modo semplice per farlo? Non ho visto un'opzione in Handbrake (sembra che stia solo rippando), o in iTunes. I iMovie può aiutarmi qui? C'è un modo più economico / più semplice?

Non deve essere esatto, o terribilmente facile da usare. Sono perfettamente disposto a fornire solo un elenco di MM: punti SS (ce ne sono solo 4 o 5).

Non l'ho usato personalmente, ma sembra che Subler farà ciò che vuoi.

Subler will allow you to add chapters. You just need to drag and drop a text file in the right format into Subler. You don't write them in in the Subler GUI.

The Subler site explains the format. It took a lot of trial and error for me to get it right and it is time consuming so I haven't done it in a while. Otherwise, I'd tell you how I did it.

Once you add the file, you will have a new row under the Video Track and Stereo rows called Chapter Track. You can edit the Titles in there if you want to, but if you created the file correctly, you shouldn't have to.
