Gimp continua a bloccarsi con l'errore SIGSEGV

Sto provando Mac Gimp 2.8 in alternativa a Photoshop. Volevo fare più cose su OS e mi chiedevo se Gimp avrebbe giocato bene. Sembra che sia Photoshop che Gimp ottengano lo stesso errore lavorando con il testo. Non appena provo a lavorare con i miei font in Gimp ottengo:

Qualcuno ha idea del motivo per cui Gimp si blocca qui e come posso usarlo per aggiungere nuovamente i livelli di testo? Ho bisogno di fare un po 'di lavoro qui e si blocca appena ho selezionato un font e ho cercato di aggiungere del testo. Mi chiedo anche se gli errori PS e Gimp sono correlati.

Ho installato circa 300 font. Mac e Gimp o Photoshop non soffocheranno su quell'importo ora lo faranno ..?! Quando carico Gimp su onder Xquartz basato sul pacchetto MacPorts dopo aver aggiunto tutti i nuovi font, non si è bloccato. Quindi potrebbe trattarsi di un problema di Apple X11 o di un altro problema del codice nativo di Apple dato che Gimp 2.8 che gira sotto X11 di Apple si sta ancora bloccando.

Ancora nessuna correzione. Ho appena avuto un nuovo incidente. Vedi link . Di nuovo ho provato a modificare il testo in Gimp e fallito.

Aggiornamento 2 Aggiunto l'ultimo Xquartz e il sistema operativo aggiornato a Lion. Tutto va bene ora.

Ho riscontrato lo stesso problema con Gimp. L'installazione del quarzo 2.7.1 e poi un log out e il back-in per puntare a xquartz anziché su x11 di Apple hanno aiutato.

Lo strumento di testo ora funziona per me su Gimp v2.8.

SIGSEGV è un segnale che viene inviato dal sistema operativo a un programma che lo informa che è stato effettuato l'accesso a un indirizzo di memoria non valido. Dato che questo è fatto dal programma stesso, non c'è davvero nulla che un utente possa fare per risolverlo. Questo è un bug nel software e qualcuno che abbia familiarità con il codice sorgente può probabilmente risolverlo facilmente. Suggerirei di archiviare un bug report per il bug, se non è già stato archiviato, altrimenti tutto quello che puoi fare è sederti e aspettare che venga risolto.
