Sto cercando di aggiornare il mio MacBook Air a qualcosa con le nuove porte Thunderbolt 3, ma ho anche porte USB 3. Sembra che ci siano così tanti modelli là fuori, ma non ne ho trovato uno.

Attualmente, l'unico "MacBook" che supporta Thunderbolt 3 sono i MacBook Pro che sono stati rilasciati nel 2016 e oltre. Quelle hanno solo porte Thunderbolt tipo USB-C. Se stai cercando qualcosa che ti dia porte USB-A e compatibilità USB 3.0, avrai bisogno di un (temuto) dongle .
Il 2016 MacBook Pro 15 " (con e senza Touchbar) ha le seguenti porte:
Charging and Expansion Four Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports with support for:
- Charging
- DisplayPort
- Thunderbolt (up to 40 Gbps)
- USB 3.1 Gen 2 (up to 10 Gbps)
Il modello da 13 " ha solo 2 porte Thunderbolt:

Il MacBook Air (2015) supporta solo Thunderbolt 2 mentre l'ultimo MacBook supporta solo USB-C con DisplayPort (no Thunderbolt).
