sudo hostname -s Steve-Mac
Che funzionerà per tutte le future sessioni del terminale. Tuttavia, se ricomincio, torna a unknown
Come faccio a mantenere questa impostazione?
L'impostazione del nome host tramite il Terminale non è permanente.
Dalla manpage del nome host:
DESCRIPTION
The hostname utility prints the name of the current host. The super-user can set the hostname by supplying an argument. To keep the hostname between reboots, run 'scutil --set HostName name-of-host'.
In alternativa, imposta il nome host nelle Preferenze di Sistema, nella sezione Condivisione.
Il modo più veloce è configurarlo in Preferenze di Sistema - > Condivisione (sblocca lo schermo facendo clic sul lucchetto in basso), quindi cambia nome e Applica.
