Uso il mio MBP appoggiato su uno di quei supporti per laptop, ergo il mio mouse USB esterno e la tastiera USB (entrambi logitech generici economici) sono sempre collegati tramite un hub USB Belkin alimentato.
Ieri ho notato quanto segue - dopo aver provato a espellere il mio iPod, il mio mouse USB ha iniziato a "rallentare", il puntatore non si muoveva agevolmente. Quindi sia il mouse che la tastiera smisero di funzionare, il "laser" nel mouse si spense. Ho notato che l'hub è diventato estremamente (!) Caldo e scollegato. Ecco come è successo log-wise:

Quando collego il mouse e la tastiera direttamente alle due porte USB integrate, tutto funziona correttamente. Sto usando di nuovo l'hub Belkin, e finora non si sta scaldando, tutto funziona. Tuttavia, ogni volta che collego periferiche USB (= mouse e tastiera), non importa se si tratta dell'hub Belkin o di uno delle porte integrate, ottengo qualcosa del genere:

Attenzione, tutto funziona e finora non ho ancora riscontrato il problema del "mouse a scatti" o dei timeout USB. Cosa sta succedendo? È normale? Ho in qualche modo fritto l'USB del mio Mac? : (
