Il nome errato continua a essere visualizzato nelle informazioni sull'account Mail.app

Ho cambiato il mio nome in iCloud qualche tempo fa, e poi ho ripristinato questa modifica. iCloud.com, il pannello Preferenze di sistema iCloud e le informazioni visualizzate nella voce Account Internet dell'account iCloud sono tutti corretti. In Mail.app, continua a inviare email come il nome precedente.

In ~ / Library / Mail / V2 / MailData / Accounts.plist mostra il vecchio nome in Root - > MailAccounts - > Articolo 3 - > FullUserName, così come entrambe le voci EmailAlias. Posso cambiarli con il nome corretto nel plist e ricominciare Mail.app, e ripristinerà di nuovo questi valori.

Non riesco a trovare dove è stato specificato il mio nome precedente.

The name that shows up in the TO: or CC: field when typing an email address is incorrect.
(Ex. Joe User instead of Joseph User )

Solution

Apple Mail pulls the name information from cards in the address book. If there is a card with the email address typed, it will try to use the name on that card. This can be changed by:

  • Open the address book
  • Search for the email address
  • Click Edit
  • Click the name in the card to change it.
  • Click Edit again to stop editing

Test by trying to create a new message to the email address in question.
