Qualche consiglio sulla risoluzione dei problemi di instabilità in Mountain Lion OS X 10.8.4?

In tutti i casi di crash, posso usare SSH sulla macchina, ma non riesco a capire nulla di utile per porre rimedio alla situazione.

Questo blocco si verifica quando ridimensiona il ritaglio in Aperture. La macchina era in funzione da circa 3 giorni.

Il supporto Apple mi vuole disinstallare ogni estensione di sistema, ecc. per risolvere i problemi. Non riescono a trovare nulla nei registri. Trovo difficile credere che questo problema non possa essere risolto tramite ssh o i log.

Inutile dire che congelare ogni 3 giorni è orribile. La mia ipotesi è che il problema sia legato agli aggiornamenti relativi a Aperture o Chrome. Sono abbastanza sicuro di aver eseguito Chrome ogni volta che si è verificato un arresto anomalo della macchina. Sono anche sicuro che a volte la macchina si è bloccata senza Aperture in esecuzione.

Qualche consiglio su come risolvere?

Nel Monitor di Tempurature installato download . Qualche consiglio sulle impostazioni degli avvisi?

Ho intenzione di provare SMC Fan Control impostato su "Higher RPM".

C'è un modo per avere la doppia scheda video utilizzare solo la scheda NVidia piuttosto che quella Intel (quando si utilizza A / C)? Potrebbe essere rilevante?

Potresti provare a utilizzare questa app della barra dei menu link per forzare la modalità solo integrata (a condizione che non utilizzi uno schermo esterno) e vedere se la stabilità migliora.

Sembra che tu stia usando un iMac (o MacBook Pro)? Ho avuto un problema simile con l'instabilità della grafica nel mio Mac Pro 2009. Dopo aver sostituito la scheda grafica, mi sono reso conto che quello originale era pieno zeppo di polvere che bloccava praticamente tutto il flusso d'aria verso la ventola della GPU. L'ho smontato e pulito e ora funziona bene (anche se con smcFanControl è aumentato un po ', perché sembra che anche il mio chipset funzioni a caldo o abbia un sensore cattivo).

Quello che sto cercando di dire qui è: cerca di assicurarti di avere un buon flusso d'aria oltre a incrementare la velocità della ventola. Il più semplice è solo sentire se c'è flusso, ma se non lo è, potrebbe essere necessario un po 'di smontaggio. Tuttavia, la stabilità della mia macchina è stata migliorata drasticamente da queste due misure.

Questo thread ha speculato (simile a causa dell'errore LO_WAT_ALERT) sull'utilizzo di ram e lo spazio di swap gratuito, ma alla fine l'ha risolto con una sostituzione mobo.

Se si può ssh nella macchina, vorrei avere una lettura dettagliata dell'output syslog. Potresti anche postarlo qui, ma ci sarà molto da fare.

Probabilmente è meglio usare ssh nella casella subito dopo che lo schermo si è bloccato ed eseguito, quindi eseguendo il piping dell'output in questo modo:
