Recentemente ho cancellato una partizione e ho 60 GB di spazio libero. Mi piacerebbe che la mia partizione principale lo usasse, ma ogni volta che vado a ridimensionarlo, ottengo l'errore "Non puoi eseguire questo ridimensionamento a meno che non abbia un booster". 
Questo post Ask Different ha ciò che sei cercando. Non cercare una "risposta", l'autore per qualche ragione ha deciso di scrivere la sua risposta nel post "domanda". Il metodo ha funzionato perfettamente (e in modo non distruttivo, ma dovresti sempre fare un backup comunque, per ogni evenienza) per me!

Reboot in Recovery Mode by holding down Command-R as your Mac starts up.
Open Terminal (from the Utilities section of the Menu Bar).
Run the command,
diskutil cs listTake the Logical Volume ID (a long string of letters and numbers) 10 lines up from the bottom of that command's output, and use it in the command:
diskutil cs revert [Logical Volume ID]This should convert the CoreStorage Logical Volume to a normal disk partition.
Run
diskutil cs listagain, and you should receive a "No CoreStorage logical volume groups found" message.Now you should be able to resize your partition normally through Disk Utility.
