Mail.app si blocca costantemente, anche dopo aver eliminato il profilo e la cache della posta

Apple Mail si arresta in modo anomalo per me senza interruzioni. A volte subito dopo l'apertura, ea volte tutto va bene finché non aggiungo un allegato a un'e-mail o qualcosa del genere. Un giorno è totalmente inutile ea volte posso andare una settimana senza schiantarsi.

Oggi è totalmente inutile. Ho superato l'eliminazione del profilo di posta elettronica e reinstallato, cancellando la cache, disinstallando e reinstallando il sistema operativo, ecc. Qualcuno può aiutarmi a diagnosticare in base a questa segnalazione?

Funzionava abbastanza bene fino a ieri sera e ha iniziato di nuovo a schiantarsi. Questa volta sembra un crash completamente diverso, ma non sembra che indichi una cartella ecc.

Modifiche per SO ...
Dal momento che Sierra, Mail è in V4
Dal momento che El Capitan, Mail è in V3
Tutto il resto sarà lo stesso.
Se il tuo computer è stato aggiornato tramite questi sistemi operativi, potresti avere tutte e 3 le cartelle.

Prova a cancellare lo stato salvato, ricostruire & reindicando il database ...

Cancella stato salvato

  • Passa al Finder, Cmd ⌘ N per una nuova finestra, quindi Cmd ⌘ Maiusc ⇧ G per Vai a ...
  • copia / incolla ~/Library/Saved Application State/com.apple.mail.savedState quindi Invio ⌅
  • Questo è un alias per la posizione reale, quindi fai clic con il pulsante destro del mouse su & Mostra originale
  • Elimina l'intera cartella com.apple.mail.savedState .

Step 1: Rebuild
Rebuilding a Mailbox in Mail sounds daunting but it really isn't.

  • Launch Mail, select one of your mailboxes and click on the Mailbox menu. At the bottom of the pane choose the Rebuild option. If you have a large mailbox, you can expect the process to take a few hours.
  • You must repeat this step for each one of your Mailboxes.
  • While the process takes place, you may experience system performance lag, as it can consume a lot of system resources and memory.

Another caveat, if you use IMAP or Exchange with any of the accounts, the process will redownload every message from the server, so you'll use a lot of bandwidth.

Now that you've completed these steps, work with Mail a little longer. If you are still having issues, or Mail fails to launch, you should try a manual reindex.

Step 2: Re-index

Manual reindexing of Mail messages is the only way to go if the application has become so unresponsive it barely works at all, search is not functioning correctly or the app won't launch.

Mail will automatically attempt to reindex your messages if it detects problems with the mailboxes, but sometimes a manual reindex is the best option. If you are still having problems with Mail after following step one, try manual reindexing.

  • Quit Mail if it’s open.
    To get to your home Library folder, hold down the Option key, then in the Finder choose Go > Library.
  • In ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData, delete any file that begins with “Envelope Index,” such as Envelope Index or Envelope Index-shm. (Before you actually delete the files, it makes sense to copy them to a folder on your desktop.)
  • Launch Mail and the app will build new Envelope Index files -- this can take a long time if there are numerous messages to go through.
  • If everything seems to be working correctly, you can now delete the copies of the "Envelope Index" files from your desktop.

In most cases, these two tips should solve most Mail problems

Il mio arresto anomalo si verificava quando aggiungevo account Google e il motivo era che, in uno degli account Google, avevo creato etichette postali con barre nel loro nome, ad esempio "/ label_name /" e questo confondeva l'app di posta in modo da pensare è un percorso file sul file system. Ho ribattezzato le mie etichette email, rimuovendo le barre e si è arrestato in modo anomalo!

So che questo è un thread vecchio, ma mi ha aiutato. Ecco la cura.

Ho iniziato a ricevere ripetuti arresti anomali di Mail quando passavamo dal vecchio server di posta elettronica Exchange al servizio Office365. Ho scoperto che se apro l'app della rubrica Mac, e prima che abbia la possibilità di bloccarsi, apri le preferenze ed elimini l'account Exchange che risolve i problemi.

Il re-index ha funzionato per me, ma la differenza dal post originale è sulla mia versione MacOS (Sierra 10.12.3), ho dovuto andare alla libreria che si trova in V4 non in V2.
