Ho un piccolo server linux con fail2ban e UFW installati e configurati dietro il modem gateway internet che la porta ssh viene inoltrata al server.
Gli hacker vengono rilevati da fail2ban e aggiunti a iptables e le informazioni vengono inviate a me, ma gli attaccanti possono continuare ad attaccare. Quando escludo manualmente l'IP remoto da UFW, anche gli aggressori continuano ad attaccare. Dopotutto continuo a ricevere le mail di informazione fail2ban una volta circa un'ora da fail2ban
Ad esempio, l'IP ostile 46.249.65.54 continua ad attaccare al server mentre l'IP è registrato su iptables. Ecco le voci delle tabelle IP:
