La documentazione corretta sui file .xef è disponibile ovunque?

WinACE crittografa i file (utilizzando uno dei suoi 8 metodi) in un file con estensione .xef. Vorrei vedere qualche documentazione su questo formato di file ma non ho trovato nulla ...

Sono particolarmente interessato a sapere:

  • Come viene archiviato il file
  • Quale degli otto algoritmi di crittografia effettivamente utilizzato per creare il file
  • Quale chiave ha utilizzato (128 bit, 160 bit, 256 bit, ecc.)

In che modo queste informazioni possono essere recuperate dal file?

In base a wikipedia :

Packing of ACE files is licensed as proprietary information and only available through WinACE, while Unpacking of ACE files is supported by a number of third-party archivers. However, virtually all of them (the ones that support ACE 2.x format) do this by using the proprietary "Unace.dll" from e-merge GmbH.

Nel sito di WinACE puoi leggere che usando quel file .DLL hai:

The downloadable distribution of UnACE.DLL contains the 32bit .DLL, a list of function calls as well as some function prototypes, structures and constants to include when using the .DLL.

Quindi, forse usandolo puoi recuperare quelle informazioni.
