Ho un MacBook 13 (2007, hw.model: 2,1) con OS X Lion (10.7). Desidero avviare dual-boot Linux Mint 17.1 insieme a OS X. Ho creato una partizione per Linux e ho anche installato rEFIt (0.14). Ho creato un LiveUSB e il Live DVD per l'installazione di Linux Mint.
Quando utilizzo il LiveUSB e seleziono l'opzione Linux in rEFIt, ottengo il seguente errore:

E quando uso il LiveDVD (con e senza tenere premuto 'c'), il disco viene espulso. Ho masterizzato 2 nuovi DVD e ho anche provato a installarlo su un'altra macchina, dove è stato installato con successo.
Qualche suggerimento su come risolvere questo problema è benvenuto.
