Verizon Edge is a program that provides you the flexibility to upgrade early, and pay for your device over 20 months rather than paying for it all upfront. You’ll make a monthly payment until your device is paid off.

After 30 days, if you’ve paid at least 60% of the Edge device, you’ll have the option to Edge Up to a new device without any upgrade fees.

Che cosa significa?

Avrai un contratto di 2 anni con Verizon e dovrai pagare i costi del servizio Verizon aggiuntivi (telefono + dati). Ora ogni volta che arrivi a bordo fino al prossimo telefono l'orologio ricomincia daccapo. (Contratto di 2 anni).

L'unico vantaggio è che non devi spendere il costo dell'iPhone in anticipo, ma più di 2 anni e la possibilità di ottenere un modello più nuovo.

Per Verizon pagherai > $ 60 / M per i servizi di rete. Con alcuni altri fornitori pagherai $ 40 / M per circa gli stessi servizi. La differenza di 720/480 è di $ 240 all'anno a cui si paga di più.

Quindi il costo effettivo dopo 2 anni con Verizon è 649 + 720 + 720 = $ 2089, mentre l'acquisto diretto ti costerà 649 + 480 + 480 = $ 1609.
