L'installazione pulita resetta tutto, incluso SMC?

TL; DR : una nuova installazione resetta tutto (come SMC, ad esempio)? In caso contrario, che altro dovrei fare per essere sicuro che il computer sia completamente resettato, come se fosse appena uscito dalla fabbrica?

Il mio macbook si è comportato in modo strano nelle ultime settimane, quindi ho deciso di dargli l'installazione pulita con Yosemite.

Penso di aver incasinato la SMC e resettarlo non aiuta. Ho una partizione Bootcamp che ho usato per giocare. Il mio MacBook Pro diventerebbe molto caldo mentre giocavo su Windows, quindi ho installato Controllo Fan di Lubbo . Ciò ha funzionato per un paio di giorni, fino a quando ho capito che mentre avviava in OSX i fan non funzionavano affatto o funzionavano a pieno ritmo. Ho provato a resettare SMC, ma questo non ha aiutato. Così ho installato iStat Menus e controllato i miei fan manualmente (sì, una soluzione pigra). Ora ho un'app di controllo dei fan su Windows e uno su OSX, e nessuno dei due funziona come previsto (in iStat quando lo imposto su 'default' i fan smettono di funzionare).

Inoltre, ho installato molte cose e i file rimanenti sono dappertutto. Quindi, ora mi sto liberando di Bootcamp e pulito l'installazione di Yosemite. Come faccio a fare questo correttamente e completamente? Mi piacerebbe rendere il computer fresco appena uscito dalla fabbrica. Devo fare qualcosa oltre a un'installazione pulita?

Una nuova installazione del sistema operativo non ripristinerà l'hardware, SMC o PRAM. Potrebbe valere la pena di controllare che entrambi siano correttamente resettati prima di andare fino a un wipe & installazione.

Ripristina prima la PRAM - tieni premuto Cmd / Opt / P / R alle suonerie & attendi che i rintocchi si avverino una seconda volta.

SMC varia per macchina, Mac Pro è sufficiente per spegnere e amp; lasciare la spina di alimentazione per un minuto. I MacBook sono diversi: il link copre tutte le varianti.
