Elementi copiati da CD solo in lettura

Ho un CD che quando gli elementi vengono copiati sul desktop (OS 10.6) gli elementi sono contrassegnati come di sola lettura. Il CD è formattato UDF e ho letto quanto segue su un altro sito:

The Mac simply doesn't understand the UDF format which is widely used by many Windows and Linux computers, along with various consumer DVD burners, video cameras and other devices. OS X gets confused when reading files, thinking they have read-only privileges or locked files or different owners, depending on what software was used to write the disc. Other systems don't suffer from this problem because they fully implement the 13-year-old UDF standard, but OS X doesn't.

C'è un modo per ottenere elementi copiati per ereditare il permesso della cartella in cui vengono copiati? Non voglio dover modificare i permessi ogni volta che i file vengono copiati.

Un modo sarebbe copiare i file dalla riga di comando usando rsync : supporta un flag --chmod , quindi puoi dire, ad esempio,

rsync -a --chmod=u+w /Volumes/name-of-the-CD/ /wherever/

per attivare il flag scrivibile per l'utente (tu). Fai attenzione, però, al fatto che% co_de impiega un po 'di tempo per abituarsi, specialmente quando copia ricorsivamente le directory. Se si finisce o meno il nome della directory sorgente con una barra, in realtà fa la differenza ...
